Our programme provides a monthly opportunity to hear expert lecturers share their specialist knowledge about the arts in a friendly and sociable environment.
We have eleven free monthly lectures a year (not in January) and typically three study days, one visit each month (sometimes two), two trips (one in the UK and one abroad), a new members drinks party and two other social events every year, for which only members can apply. You will receive a copy of the quarterly magazine, The Arts Society Review. There are also opportunities to join local volunteering and church recording projects.
We would love you to join but, if you like to come along for a taster lecture (no ticket needed), pay £5 on the door which is deducted from your sub should you join.
If you'd like to chat about the society, please phone our Chairman, Louise Capell, on 020 8979 4635 or email her at LouiseTASRichmond@gmail.com. We do not have a waiting list and there is no joining fee.
We meet in Duke Street Church, Richmond TW9 1DH on the first Tuesday of every month (but not in January). Doors open at 6.30pm before the one-hour lecture at 7.30pm. Bring your own bottle and a glass if you would like a drink and a chat before the lecture. We just ask please that you take your empties home with you.
We really look forward to meeting you and we will make you very welcome.
